It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carson Douglas of Nathalie, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Coolidge Douglas and Pauline Ward Douglas; his wife Louise Davis Douglas; and his siblings, Elton Douglas and Deborah Day.

He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Douglas McKinney (Randy Fisher) of Nathalie and David E. Douglas (Michelle) of Nathalie Four; his grandchildren, David Charles Douglas (Kelli) of Scottsburg, Haley Ann McKinney of Nathalie, Emily Katelyn McKinney of Nathalie and Taylor Marie McKinney of Nathalie Two; his great grandchildren, Reid and Rhett Douglas; his siblings, Wanda Douglas of Brookneal, Lynn Crews of Brookneal One and Wayne Douglas of Brookneal; and his aunt Thelma Shelor.
