He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jean Combs Smith; his daughters, Katherine Smith Dalton of Gretna, Chasity Smith Comer of Crystal Hill and Patty Harker (Mark) of Kentucky; his stepchildren, Gussie Hurd (Rodney) of Mt. Carmel, TN, Tony Lee Falin, Toby Falin of Kingsport, TN, Martha Durham (Brent) of Murfreesboro, TN and Angie Michele Duff (Adam) of Duffield, VA; and his sister Faye Franklin (Harry) of Spout Springs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel (221 Old Main St, Brookneal, VA 24528). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
