It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Vassar Hill (Nathalie, Virginia), born in Halifax, Virginia, who passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Vassar and Ruth Snead Vassar; her son James L. Hill; and her grandchildren, Robert Justin Willetts and Rhiannon Marie Willetts.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Hill (Rosalie) of Nathalie, Michael Hill of Forest, Phillip Hill (Shirley) of Hurt, Dianne Stables (Tom) of Houston, Kathryn H. Willetts of Canton and N. C.; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Hill (Cassie) and Shanon Hamlette (Gerald) of Nathalie. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
