She was predeceased by: her parents, James Tucker and Nora Lovelace Tucker; and her husband Chris Walter Ward. She is survived by: her children, Chris Ward, Jr. of Nathalie, Curtis Ward (Judy) of Nathalie, Wayne Ward of Nathalie, Jesse Ward of Richmond, Gloria Ward, Bertha Colson (Joseph) of Spring Lake, NC and Queen Ward Slaughter (Tony) of Lynchburg; her sister Inez Bradshaw of Aton, VA; and her friend Corrine Hubbard of Nathalie. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
