He was predeceased by: his parents, John Willard Carey and Dorothy Elizabeth Willis Carey. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Carey; and his children, Harry W. Carey, Jr. (Diane) of Chesapeake, VA, Beth Lee Rippel (Robert) of Chesapeake, VA and Tenn. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
