She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Willey Messick and Arthur Messick; and her half-siblings, Jacob "Buddy" Messick and Darcus Messick. She is survived by: her pets, Snoopy and Lady. She is also survived by three sons; two grandchildren; four cousins; a dear friend.
