She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Totten and Hazel Totten; her son Scott Allen Marshall; and her brother-in-law Glen Marshall. She is survived by: her husband Julian "Sammy" Marshall.
In her final years, as Shirley faced the challenges of Alzheimer's disease, she did so with the grace and dignity that characterized her entire life.
