He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Johnson Woodyard and Ethel Mullins Woodyard; and his brother-in-law Billy G. Rice. He is survived by: his wife Rebekah Anne Blackburn of Narrows; his daughter Cathy Woodyard Archie (Dwayne) of Narrows; his grandchildren, Eric Lee Keaton (Jenna) and Madison Faith Keaton (Austin Minnick); his siblings, Jack Lee Woodyard (Ellen) of Narrows, Jerry Michael Woodyard (Sandra) of Narrows and Rebecca Woodyard Rice of Narrows; and his pet Abbie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Giles County Animal Shelter.
