He was predeceased by: his parents, Hobert Johnson Lambert and Stella Gray Lambert; his son Bobby Lambert; and his siblings, Harold C. Lambert and Marlene L. Palmer.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Millirons Lambert of Christiansburg; his children, Steve Lambert (Cindy) of Christiansburg, Melissa Linkous (Mike) of Pulaski and Penny L. Fisher of Pulaski; and his grandchildren, Rena Mitchell (Travis), Shena Robertson, Chase Fisher, Michaela Miller (Michael), J. Linkous, Alex Raines, Kayla Raines and Brooke Raines. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
