We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2023, at the age of 84, Mason McKinley Ayers of Narrows, Virginia, born in Bluefield, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Mason Ayers and Daisy Marie Brooks Ayers; his siblings, Ginger Reed and Bobby Ayers; and his great grandchild Delaney Faithe Crowder Bishopriggs.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ayers of Narrows; his daughters, Kimley Ayers Bay (Tom) of Princeton, WV and Jamie Ayers Crowder of Narrows; his son-in-law Jeff Crowder of Lexington; his grandchildren, Brookley Summer Crowder of Lexington, Evan Thomas Bay of Princeton, WV. and Alexandra Michelle Bay Hatfield (Matt) of Princeton, WV.; his siblings, Faye Lester (Doug), Brenda Woodward, Grace Glass (Tim), Merle Ayers (Susan) and Joetta Davis (Ted); and his friends, Bill Riddle, Rawhide Lambert, Bob Frazier and Betsy McNew. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Giles County Animal Shelter, 678 Green Hollow Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134 in memory of Mason.
