He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyal E. Hilsmier and Hazel Marion Kinerk Hilsmier. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jeanne McWilliams Hilsmier of Narrows; his sons, Michael E. Hilsmier, Mark E. Hilsmier and Matthew E. Hilsmier; his stepchildren, David Lutz of Venice, FL and Shari Bolding of Mt. Carmel, IL; and his siblings, Jerry Hilsmier of Petersburg, MI, Judy Steidinger of Chatsworth, IL and Lois Northrup of Irvine, CA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
