He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Arvil Harris and Hattie Irene Blankenship Harris; his wife Sandra Martin Harris; his son-in-law Michael Joe Allen; his close friend Jerry Harris; and his brother Marlon Harris (Waynette) of Blacksburg.
He is survived by: his family Harris Grocery; his children, Sean Harris of Narrows, Dean Harris, Cassandra Allen of Winston-Salem and Michael Shrader of Narrows; his sister Sarah Jeanette Harris Fletcher; his sister-in-law Evelyn Harris; and his close friends, Donnie and Sam Hare.
