With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Faye Lindsey of Narrows, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Frank Gray and Alma Jean French; her husband Willis Earl Lindsey; her sisters, Bonnie Gray and Dreama Gray; her daughter-in-law Glenda Lindsey; and her siblings-in-law, Ross Lindsey, Carl Lindsey, Howard Lindsey and Darlene Lindsey.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Faye Lindsey Rice (Thomas Eugene Rice) of Pembroke and Earl Dwayne Lindsey (Erin) of Pearisburg; her sisters-in-law, Katherine Lindsey of Pearisburg and Doris Lindsey of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Breanna Rice (Madyson Spears) of Pembroke, Megan Rice of Pembroke and Thomas Rice of Pembroke; her great grandchild Mayson Carter Spears; and her friend Francis Louise Havens. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Birchlawn Burial Park (177 Birchlawn Cir, Pearisburg, VA 24134). A burial will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the same location.
