He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Cleveland Jones and Olivian Thomas Jones. He is survived by: his siblings, Walter Jones (Sue) of Pembroke, Ronald "Poochie" Jones of Narrows and Norma McNeil of Roanoke. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marine Corp.
