She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edward Shannon and Betty Jean Clemons; and her brothers, Jimmy and John Shannon. She is survived by: her children, Carl Douglas Mcallister of Narrows, VA, Jennifer Wright (Billy) of Narrows, VA, Crystal Ferrell (Phillip Meadows) of Narrows, VA, Hope Mcallister (Kenneth McGuire) of Narrows, VA, Rachael Caldwell (Anthony) of Christiansburg, VA and Jessica Ferrell (Leon) of Princeton, WV; her sister Ester Shannon of Rich Creek, VA; and her former husband Doug Mcallister of Narrows, VA. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
