She was predeceased by: her father Henry William Spicer; her husband Robert Lee Burton; her siblings, Frances S. Hudson and Maury Spicer; and her mother-in-law Dollie Horne.
She is survived by: her close friend Ben Richardson; her children, Teri Burton Smith (Roger) of Jacksonville, AL, Michelle Burton of Narrows and Michael Lee Burton (Erin) of Pearisburg; her grandchildren, Bryan Pruett (Kelly), Courtney Busby (Jason), Erica Gautier (Christopher), Sydney Thompson, Spencer Lindsey, Savanna Hammond (Kyle) and Chandler Burton; her siblings, Elmer Spicer of Fredericksburg, Jimmy Spicer of Pearisburg and Rebecca Spicer of Dublin; her brother-in-law Basil Burton (Gladys) of Narrows; and her close friend David Thompson. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many loving nieces and nephews.
