He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ross Hughes and Lorraine Hopson Hughes; his brothers, George Hughes and Randy Hughes; and his brother-in-law David Fleeman.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Spicer Hughes; his sons, Bryan Hughes (Kimber) and Chris Hughes (Charity); his grandchildren, Jordan Hughes, Lauryn Jones (Ryan) and Leah Hughes; his great grandchild Rylee Jones; his sister Rita Fleeman; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hughes; and his daughter-in-law Shelley Atkins Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
