He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Stables and Edith Thomas Stables. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stables; his children, Hunter Stables, Wendy Tiller, Dewayne Stables (Denise), Mike Stables and Wilma Sparks; and his stepchildren, Randy Williams (Joanne) and Terry Williams. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
