It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Wimmer of Narrows, Virginia, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wimmer and Ina Warner Wimmer; and his brother Johnny Wimmer. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Meadows Wimmer; his daughter Lora Comer (Michael) of Princeton, WV; his granddaughter Emilee Comer Turner (Adrian); his great grandchild Micah Turner; and his siblings, Danny Wimmer of Tennessee, Loretta Brown of Narrows, VA, Sarah Callaghan of Roanoke, Brenda Hylton of Vinton and Becky White (Tennis) of Tennessee.
