He was predeceased by: his parent Beatuis Hale; his daughter Brenda Sentman; and his brother Arnold Lee Hale. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Wade (Susan Blankenship) of Narrows, Alvin Hale (Patricia) of Blacksburg, Linda Meadows of Rich Creek and Loretta Anderson of Rich Creek; and his grandchildren, Mike Wade, Vanessa Wade, Valerie Wade and Corey Hale (Jessica). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
