She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Parsons and Thelma Parsons of Ashe County, NC.; and her grandson Kevin Bryan Smith. She is survived by: her husband Charles Vern Smith; her children, Charlie Smith (Debbie), Tommy Smith of Mouth and Margaret Sobey (Mike); her grandchildren, Kacie Walker (Garrett) and Cody Smith of Sparta, NC; and her great grandchildren, Emma Smith, Peyton, Willow, August and Effie Walker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Reins~sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
