He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Spencer; and his brother Leonard Spencer. He is survived by: his mother Margie M. Musick; his stepfather Jerry Spencer of Rugby, Virginia; his sister Sandy; his brother-in-law Dennis Hill of Troutdale, Virginia; his brother Troy; his sister-in-law Sarah Musick of Rugby, Virginia; his nieces and nephews, Jenny Hill of Wytheville, Leeann Musick of Dobson, Tyler and Lance Musick; and his close friend Kay Brooks of Sugar Grove.
