June Ella Spencer Phipps Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2022, at the age of 88, June Ella Spencer Phipps (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Laverne S. Kiser, Carol S. Miller and Sherrill W. Spencer. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Dale Phipps; her children, Sharon (Robby Wingate), Robert Gayle (Pam Phipps), Timothy Dale Phipps of Independence and David Lee Phipps of Independence; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Cope of Lexington, NC, Wendy, John Hinson of Lexington, NC, Josh Wingate of Independence, VA, Taylor, Adam Heitman of Lexington, NC, Alyssa, Zack Hill of Galax, VA and Cheyenne Phipps of Galax, VA. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Lastly, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army or Independence Volunteer Rescue Squad.
