He is survived by: his son Dylan Bridgeman of San Antonio, TX; his fiancée Alicia Miller; his fiancée's child Tiera of Mouth; his sister Tanya Sherwood (Arthur) of Mouth; his niece Nicole Sherwood of Mouth; his nephew Nathan Sherwood of Troutdale, VA; and his aunts, Jackie Wagg of Mouth, Jannie Wallace of Mocksville, NC and Ladecka Brady (Bruce) of Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the Rugby Rescue Squad or to an organization of the donors choice in memory of Derek.
