With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Buster Barker (Mouth of Wilson, Virginia), born in Jefferson, North Carolina, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Worth Barker and Ossie Rebecca Miller Barker; his son Jessie Walter Barker; and his sister Mabel Barker Roten. He is survived by: his children, Becky Finley of Wytheville, Virginia, Kenny Shatley of Warrensville and Chris Barker of West Jefferson; and his siblings, Mackie Roten of Creston, Robin Jones of West Jefferson, Shirley Neaves of Laurel Springs and Billy Barker of Laurel Springs. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
