He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh A. Clem and Ruth Clem (Samples); his brother Samuel Helms Clem; and his grandson Nathan Robert Smiley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Clem (Miller); his children, Cynthia Wilkerson (Alan), Brenda Brocato (Mark), Donna Chandler (Gregory), Kimberly Smiley (Robert), Christopher Clem (Melissa) and Sarah Armentrout (Wes); and his sister Betty Jane Clem. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
