William David Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2019, at the age of 85, William David Hughes (Mount Solon, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Merrill Hughes and Mildred Hughes (Wilkins); his stepmother Jean Stone Hughes; his wife Kathryn Suzanne Hughes (Lychalk); and his siblings, Judith Babcock and Thomas Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Brewington of Clemmons, N. C., William "Billy" Hughes, Jr. (Melissa) of Pittsboro, N. C., Cynthia Moore (James) of Owego, N. Y., Betty Swope (Dwight) of Churchville, Barbara Fuller (Aubrey) of Mount Solon and Karen Waldron (Timothy) of Churchville; his sister Priscilla Young (Carl) of Schenetady, N. Y.; and his close friend Elaine L. Sykes.
