He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd William and Beulah Derrow (Cave) of Virginia; his brothers, James Derrow and Shirley Derrow; and his daughter-in-law Sherry Derrow.
He is survived by: his wife Madge Lucille Derrow (Huffer); his children, Peggy Simmons of Mt. Solon, Debi Magana of Mt. Solon, Boyd C. of Mt. Solon, Bruce Derrow (Tammy) of Mt. Solon and Randy Derrow (Diane) of Dayton; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Derrow (Lambert). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
