She was predeceased by: her parents, Tyris "Berlin" Michael and Ruby Michael (Huffer); her husband Lester "Bill" E. Michael; and her siblings, Zane, Donny, Jerry, Billy Michael and Connie "Doodle" Clinedinst.
She is survived by: her sisters, Gay Emmett (Dorwon) of Rockingham, Nancy Daggy (Russell) of Mount Solon, Marie Lam of Bridgewater and Linda Kelley (Larry) of Mount Solon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
