She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Edgar and Agnes Tumer (Miller); her spouse Thomas W. Michael; her daughter Martha Byerly (Tom); her son-in-law Julian Thompson; and her sister Joyce Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Michael (Frances) of Mount Solon and Nancy Michael of Mount Solon; her grandsons, Bryson Michael, Jason Michael (Betsie), Travis Byerly (Susan) and Trent Byerly; her great grandchildren, Ella Jane, Caroline, Corbin, Matthew, Ryan and Brooke; and her siblings, Gaynelle Wenzell and Frank Tumer. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
