He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Francis and Orpha Ellen Huffman (Bowyer); his son Christopher Charles Huffman; and his grandson Charles Vanden Brulle. He is survived by: his wife Susan Huffman (Cockerham) of Mt. Solon; his daughter Ashley Huffman Brulle of Staunton, Virginia; his brother Larry D.; his sister-in-law Peggy Huffman of Beckley; his sisters, Sylivia Poff of Hillsdale and Mary Ellen Neff of Fayetteville; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Cockerham Nicholson and William M. Nicholson of San Antonio, Texas. He is also survived by his wife, family members.

The family requests that attendees wear masks and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Capital Improvement Fund, 2000 Shutterlee Mill Road, Staunton, VA 24401.
