Charlene S Michael Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene S Michael of Mount Sidney, Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Sacra and Florence Sacra (Young); her spouse W. L. Michael, Sr.; her brothers, William Sacra and Carroll Sacra; her brother-in-law Calvin "Smitty" Smith; and her granddaughter Natalie Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, William Michael, Jr. (Tina) of Mechanicsville, Kenneth Michael (Leslie) of Waynesboro, Cindy Freeman (Bruce) of Winston Salem, NC, Donna Phillips (Daniel) of Waynesboro and Donald Michael (Amy) of Crimora; her siblings, Homer Sacra, Jr. (Pat), Nancy Smith and Jean Burkholder (Bruce); and her sisters-in-law, Patsy Rodeffer and Sandra Sacra. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany United Methodist Church (3700 Lee Hwy, Weyers Cave, VA 24486). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
