She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Showns and Evelyn Mae Campbell (Showns); her husband James Franklin Baker; and her stepmother Thelma Showns. She is survived by: her daughters, Adele Crosen of Winchester, VA, Joan Strickler of Stephenson, VA, Jean Baker of Mount Jackson, VA. and Jackie Jordan of Mount Jackson, VA.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and five great-great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, Shenandoah County Animal Shelter, Shenandoah Animal Hospital, or Stoney Creek Church of the Brethren.
