She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Wallace Hughes and Margaret Thompson Hughes Wade; and her children, Lorrie Ann Koontz, James Alan Koontz of Mt. Jackson, Michael John Koontz of Mt. Jackson and Kenneth Bain Koontz of Mt. Jackson. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
