With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Zerkel of Mount Jackson, Virginia, born in New Market, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sager-Zerkel and Lelia Sager-Zerkel. He is survived by: his wife Micki; his children, Ryan Zerkel, Justin Koontz, Brian, Bobby, Blake Rogers and Shelby Flick; his grandchildren, Kara, Briona, Haylee, Nathan, Davy, Madison, Gabrielle, Miles, Christopher and Caitlin; and his siblings, Harriet Hiner (James Hiner II), MaryAnn Rinker, Jane Milligan, Jack Zerkel and James E. Zerkel II (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
