He is survived by: his wife Connie Poole Wimer; his stepchildren, Abbey Helsley of Edinburg, Kellie Reynolds of Maurertown and Travis Sydow of Texas; and his siblings, Kenneth Wimer of Timberville, Patsy Wimer of Woodstock and Freda Sigler of Mt. Jackson. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
