The passing of Richard A. Weatherholtz of Mount Jackson, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 10, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Weatherholtz and Hazel Fansler Weatherholtz; and his siblings, Courtney, Vivian, Fern and Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Thelma Weatherholtz; his daughters, Debbie Wampler (Kenny) of Mt. Sidney and Jane Popkins (Mike) of Mt. Jackson; his grandsons, Brett Smith (Sarah) of Mt. Jackson and Cody Smith (Chelsey) of New Market; and his great grandchildren, Audrina, Harper, Avery, Wylden, Vaida and Jameson.
