Peggy Pool Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Pool of Mount Jackson, Virginia, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lucas and Beulah Lucas of Mt. Jackson; her former husband John J. Higgs of New Market; and her husband Alfred C. Pool (Big Boy). She is survived by: her children, Johna Higgs McFarland (Paul) of Harrisonburg and Jeffrey Higgs, Sr. (Naomi) of Edinburg; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Higgs, Jr. (Heather) of Woodstock and Christy Dysart (Jeff) of Woodstock; her sister Dorothy Seal of Edinburg; her great grandchildren, Catie, Jackie Madigan, Julian and Sam Higgs; her stepdaughter Patricia Pool; and her pet Meow-Meow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
CDC guidelines for masks and social distancing will be observed.
