It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Jewel of Mount Jackson, Virginia, born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Henry Jewel and Barbara Louisa Capone Jewel. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Jewel; his sons, Nicholas Jewel (Karen), Ryan Jewel and Tyler Jewel; his stepdaughters, Brooke Corder (Josh) and LeAnn Clifford; his siblings, Rebecca Sitton (Joe), Gary Jewel and Douglas Jewel (Kumi); his grandchildren, Lucky Jewel, Eli, Maverick Albright, Parker and Connor Corder; his brother-in-law Scott Weaver (Katie); and his parents-in-law, David and Sue Emswiler. He is also survived by niece and four nephews.
