With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loy Allen May Sr. of Mount Jackson, Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ashby Russell May and Delma Catherine Miller May; his son Loy Allen May Jr.; his siblings, Roy May and Ellen Miller Stayner; and his nephew Steve Allen Norman (Peanut).
He is survived by: his wife Elwanda Louise Shafer May; his daughter Jennifer Sue May of Marshall; his siblings, Dorothy Ann Newton (Roger) of Alma, AK., Janet Irene Hanson (Benjamin Hanson) of Myrtle Beach, Larry May (Linda) of Woodstock and Terry May (Lily) of Quicksburg; and his grandchildren, Paige Elizabeth Sonifrank and Dalton Allen Sonifrank.
