We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2023, at the age of 77, Denny Wayne Shirley of Mount Jackson, Virginia, born in New Market, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lee Shirley and Mary Lucille Kerlin Shirley; and his half-brothers, Robert E. Ward and Guy P. Wine. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Lynn Downey (Boot) of Woodstock, Angie Carol Shirley of New Market and Christopher Dwayne Shirley Sr. of Hardy, VA; his sister Ann S. Ring of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Dacota Lee Grady, Dylan Michael Shirley, Lucas Lee Ryan, Mary Lynn Ryan, Megan Leigh Ryan, Christoher Dwayne Shirley Jr., Tabitha Melissa Shirley and Summer Rayne Shirley; his great grandchildren, Elowin and Addilyn; and his close friend Robert Baker.
