He was predeceased by: his father George Allen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Oden Allen; and his children, Cindy Ritter, Barbara Jett (Raymond), Heidi Buchanan (Ronnie) and George Allen (Gloria). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter.
