The passing of Barbara Sue Golliday Fravel of Mount Jackson, Virginia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jenning Golliday and Elsie Lucille Strosnider Golliday; and her sisters, Peggy Smith (Richard), Shirley Stokes (Bill) and Mary Long.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Wayne Fravel; her nieces and nephews, Lorie Shafer (Roger), Angela Lynn Fravel Estep (Chris), Crystal Dawn Marston Nye (Mike), Charles "Billy" Stokes Jr. (Cindy) and Carroll W. Fravel Jr. (Kathy); and her brother-in-law Roger Long. She is also survived by eight great nephews and four great nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Service (14116 S Middle Rd, Edinburg, VA 22824). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
