We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2023, at the age of 82, Allen Johnny Grose of Mount Jackson, Virginia, born in Crumpler, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vergil Lewis and Lomie Tilley Grose; his daughters, Kathy McClements and Teresa Grose; his siblings, Johnny Grose, Marie and Clary Grose; and his nephews, Virgil Grose and Frankie Grose.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Joyce Grose; his stepchildren, Deanna Edwards (Herbie) of Florida, Michael Grose, Christina Harris of Greensboro, NC, Jason Grose of Greensboro, NC, Michael Hodges (Sarah) of Quinton, VA, Matthew Hodges of Grandy, NC, Melanie Hodges of Woodstock, VA and Megan Moriarty (Daniel) of Hurricane, WV; and his brothers, Bobby Ray Grose (Lorene) of Rock, WV and Roger Lee Grose (Paula) of Edinburg, VA. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and step grandchildren; three great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two nephews and two nieces.
