We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023, at the age of 85, Vernon William Nesselrodt of Mount Crawford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer William and Tressie Nesselrodt (Mitchell); his wife Reba Arlene Nesselrodt (Martin); and his siblings, Charlena "Mae" Dove, Helen Minnick, David Nesselrodt and Stephen Nesselrodt.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Gray of Mount Crawford, Wanda Propst (Alan) of Bridgewater, Mary Smith (Lee) of Mount Crawford and Dale Nesselrodt (Kelli) of Chesterfield; his grandchildren, George Gray IV (Kelcie Conley), Robert Gray (Deanna Blancher), Caitlin Holsapple and Joshua Holsapple; his stepgrandchildren, Seth Riley (Brooke), Corbin Riley (Ashley) and Cassandra Riley (Anthony Hamilton); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Cayson Riley, Enzo Hamilton and Eliana Hamilton; his siblings, Jarrett Nesselrodt (Linda), Lowell Nesselrodt (Sharon), Kathryn Beck and Carolyn Rothwell; his sister-in-law Sharon Nesselrodt; and his caregivers, Priscilla Beach, Bonnie Goering, Martha Morris and Joy Will. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
