He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brooks Trobaugh and Helen Marie Craig Shifflett; his brother Charles Trobaugh, Jr.; his grandparents, Guy, Willie Trobaugh, George and Pearl Craig; and his stepdaughter Angel Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Rhodes Trobaugh; his daughter Crystal Dale (Rick) of Chesterfield, VA; his stepson Charlie Joseph Jr. (Carla) of Dayton; his sister Dianna Messick (Harry "Tom") of Harrisonburg, VA; his sister-in-law Karen Trobaugh; his grandchildren, Zack, Murphy, Shelby and Cooper; his stepgrandchildren, Chad Joseph (Dominique Newman), Abigail Joseph (Tyler Brown) and Carly Joesph (Colby Lambert); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ayden, Adalynn and Elise; his nieces and nephews, Heather Hansohn (Paul), Joshua Messick (Ashley) and A. D. Trobaugh; and his close friend Timmy Craig.
