Peggy Jean Smythers Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jean Smythers of Mount Crawford, Virginia, born in Galax, Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin G. Parrish and Irene Parrish (Kirby); her son Johnny C. Smythers, Jr.; and her brother Gary Parrish. She is survived by: her spouse J. C. Smythers; her children, Mark Smythers (Christianne) and Stephanie Smythers Carr (Kenneth); her grandchildren, David Smythers, Danielle Dunn, Jackson Carr, Kaycee Carr and Connor Smythers; and her stepmother Betty Parrish (Sadie).
