It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth DePoy of Mount Crawford, Virginia, born in Mount Solon, Virginia, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James R. DePoy; her daughter Mary Lou DePoy; her son-in-law Alfredo Delgado; her siblings-in-law, Wilbur "Snooks" Blair, Melvin Armentrout, Ray Wine, Harry DePoy, Margaret DePoy, Betty Armentrout and Doris Kiracofe; and her parents, Rayburn Russell Myers and Minnie Copeland Blair Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Brook Delgado-DePoy, James Russell DePoy II (Darlene) of Greenville and Rayburn Clinton DePoy (Anne) of Dayton; her siblings-in-law, Edna Wine of Mt. Solon, Edith Lam (Ralph) of Churchville and Guy Kiracofe of Manhattan, Kansas.; her grandchildren, James "Jamie" Russell DePoy III, Bethany Nicole DePoy, Allison Louise DePoy, Jaxson Hunter DePoy, Anderson Clinton DePoy and Madison Grace DePoy; and her pet Fluffer. She is also survived by three great-granddaughters, many nieces and nephews.
