She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rodes and Naomi Rodes (Koogler); her husband Earl Pennybaker Burkholder; her sons, Dale Allen Burkholder (Karen), Wayne Edward Burkholder, Olin Atlee Burkholder and Galen Leon Burkholder; her granddaughter Carolina Star Burkholder; her son-in-law Ed Fleming; and her sisters, Priscilla Beery (Dan), Catherine Rodes, Ruth Martin Groff (Johnny Martin), Anna Lehman (Joe), Esther Good (Howard) and Iva Beachy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Eva Crider (Keith) of Strasburg and Janet Fleming of Waynesboro; and her siblings, Adin (Verna), Rhoda Bennett (Frank), Ruby Beachy (Wendell), John (Sadie), Noah, Aaron, Joseph (June) and Daniel (Esther). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
