He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Dewitt and Lena Pearl Stepp Hinegardner; and his siblings, Merita Meadows and Clayton Hinegardner. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Diane Allen Hinegardner; his children, Teresa Ann Breeden (Craig) of Elkton, Marcia Lynn Wills (Jim) of Weyers Cave, Carroll G. Hinegardner, Jr. of Rockingham County and Jennifer Lee Hinegardner of Mt. Crawford; his grandchildren, Bryan Craig Breeden (Abigail), Jason Craig Breeden, Nicolette Dawn Fitzwater, Hunter Lee Fitzwater and Alicia Madison Hinegardner; his great grandchildren, Kelly Grace Breeden, Zackary Ellis Breeden, Alexis Jade Fitzwater and Olivia Pearl Fitzwater; his brothers, Carl Hinegardner and Randy Hinegardner; and his close friend Roy Davis.
